Another convert the Lg 47Lh40 handles extremely well is the convert in light levels within a room. If you have sun peering through a window one minute and the sun setting the next, the Lg47Lh40 can make color and light level adaption without you having to turn a light on or off since it inherently knows how to adjust its brightness. The model's 1080p resolution and 70,000:1 divergence ration also help with this task.
And the sound of this flat screen is as close to home theater quality as you will get without paying the home theater prices. All handled by grand Dolby 5.1 invisible speakers.
